Friday 25th June, 10:00am – 11:00am – Patchworks of Perennial Meadows

Our perennial meadows are created using a range of techniques including special mixes prepared at instant turf inserts or our innovative sustainable methods using plants and bulbs established in sustainably sources growing media. Discover some of our favourite plants and have an introduction into how we establish prepare and establish plantings to give you ideas for home.

Friday 2nd July, 10:00am – 11:00am – Stop and Smell the Roses

One of our most beloved borders on the Estate, the David Austin Rose Border runs along the length of the Trellis Walk, containing a contemporary combination of beautiful blooms and calming grasses. Learn about the different planting combinations and tips on how to recreate a stunning display at home.

Friday 9th July, 10:00am – 11:00am – Midsummer Meadows

Not only easy on the eye, but often easy to create, take a tour to find out how we have established a network of meadows in the gardens, and take home some tricks and tips to create your own!

Friday 16th July, 10:00am – 11:00am – Pollinator-friendly Plants

A vital part of gardening is taking care of our pollinators – come along on this tour and we’ll share with you tips on how to choose pollinator friendly flowers, creating annual and permanent pollinator friendly displays and tips on how to create nesting habitats for bees and other beneficial insects.

Friday 6th August, 10:00am – 11:00am – Wildlife-friendly Gardening

Trentham has created an innovative contemporary yet sustainable and biodiverse garden. We are constantly adapting our methods of gardening to support our important local wildlife as well as supporting global winter and summer visiting migrants. Take a tour and gain insight into how to create a wildlife-friendly garden at home through the seasons.

Friday 27th August, 10:00am – 11:00am – See the work of Piet Oudolf at Trentham

Piet Oudolf, one of the most prominent plantsmen in Europe and leader in naturalistic planting has designed iconic designs across the world. Take a tour of The Eastern Pleasure Gardens with our team and find out the stamp that Piet Oudolf has put on Trentham. From the Rivers of Grass, Floral Labyrinth, shrub borders and Wave Hedges to the long borders in the Italian garden there is lots to inspire your own garden.

Our Italian garden displays are in full Summer bloom – take a tour with our team, discover more about this historic garden, who created it, how we have revived it to its’ former glory, and how to bring beautiful borders to your own homes

Friday 24th September, 10:00am – 11:00am – Discover the Floral Labyrinth

Explore the meandering paths of Piet Oudolf’s Floral Labyrinth at Trentham, a truly unique garden, backdropped by historic parkland and trees, you are sure to be captivated by the colour and contrast. Discover how simple it would be to create a biodiverse and sustainable planting scheme with amazing combinations to inspire you.

Non members and guests including Garden Admission - £18.00

RHS Members including Garden Admission (RHS Membership Card required upon entry) - £15.00

Members go for £6.50 on all garden tours.
