Meet David Goode at Glazed Art
Join Glazed Art in an exhibition of David Goode bronze sculptures
Acclaimed artist David Goode will be visiting Glazed Art from Thursday 21 - Sunday 24 May.
David, who grew up in the nearby market town of Leek, made a name for himself as Madam Tussaud’s youngest sculptor - travelling the world for sittings with famous figures ranging from Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson, to Ronald Reagan and Yasser Arafat.
After becoming a freelance sculptor in 1994, he found renewed fame with his Goblin Collection, inspired by a childhood fascination with myths and folklore and a love of Tolkien.
Now Trentham has become the only gallery outside of David’s studio in Oxford to stock his sought-after bronze-cast goblin pieces, which prove popular with buyers across the globe, particularly in the USA.
Meet David Goode, the famous folklore bronze sculpture artist, at Glazed Art.
