Ticket Delivery and Collection
Q: Can we have our tickets sent out in the post?
A: Yes, there will be an additional charge for recorded delivery to have your tickets sent out - this is £3. Otherwise you can collect them from the Gardens Entrance before or on the day of the event. Tickets will be posted two weeks prior to the event you have selected.
Q: Can we collect our tickets on the day of the event?
A: We recommended you collect tickets before the day of the event and all tickets must be collected before 3pm on the day of your chosen event.
Q: What if it rains on the day of the event?
A: If it is bad weather on the day of the event, but the performance carries on as scheduled, there will be no refunds.
Q: What if I book my tickets but then can’t make the event?
A: Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased with the exception of tickets purchased online which can be refunded within 7 days; if you would like to request a refund please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What if I’ve lost my ticket?
A: Tickets must be kept very safe as we cannot re-issue lost tickets. You must have a valid ticket to enter.
Q: What if the event is cancelled?
A: In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions, we would have to cancel for the safety of our visitor. We will issue all bookers an email and attempt to call people who have not provided an email address. We would aim to reschedule the event and will issue information about this on our website within 2 working days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event OR if we cannot reschedule, a full refund will be issued. There will be NO REFUNDS on the day of the cancellation. Refunds will be issued within 5 working days of the cancellation announcement.
On the Night
Q: Is the event outdoors?
A: Yes, the event is outdoors. There is no seating area, and no area that is covered. We suggest that you bring suitable clothing.
Q: Where do the fireworks take place?
A: The fireworks will be set off above the lake. Viewing areas will be in the Italian Gardens. In the event of strong winds and dependent on the wind direction, the fireworks display could move to the parkland area for safety reasons.
Q: What time does the event start?
A: The gates open at 5.00pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks will be set off at 7.30pm. There will be additional entertainment between these times.
Q: Can I bring sparklers?
A: Unfortunately, for the safety of our visitors, sparklers (or any other fireworks) are not allowed at our firework events.
Q: Will food be sold at the events?
A: Yes - the Italian Garden Tearooms will be open until 9pm, and there will be additional catering options available in the Italian Gardens including a noodle bar, doughnuts, burgers, toasties and hot chocolate stalls. Several of our on site restaurants are open until late - Totally Delicious in the Shopping Village, Premier Inn, Frankie & Benny’s and Terrazzo del Giardino.
Q: What activities are there for children?
A: There will be a small fairground and games stalls for children, and performances on the stage throughout the event! Keep your eyes peeled for our walkabout entertainers – the circus is coming to town!
Q: Can I bring the dog?
A: Sorry - for the dogs and other visitors’ safety, dogs are not allowed to the event, except assistance dogs. Please bear in mind the noise of the fireworks if you are considering bringing an assistance dog, to avoid them getting distressed!
Q: Can I come in and out of the gardens during the event?
A: Yes, but you will need to speak to a member of staff on exiting to get a re-entry wristband.
Q: Can I bring a BBQ?
A: Unfortunately we do not allow BBQ’s at the events, however, there will be a burger stall situated in the Italian Gardens.
Q: Is there disabled access to the event?
A: Yes, the route from the car park to the Italian Gardens is wheelchair friendly, and there are accessible areas in the gardens for wheelchairs. Please show your blue badge to the car park marshals who will direct you to an appropriate space / drop off point. Please see our accessibility page for further information.
Q: Will the Shopping Village be open late?
A: All of the shops have been asked to stay open later for the event, however as they are independently managed, some may not. Several of the cafes and restaurants are open until late - see above.
Exiting the Event
Q. How long does it take to exit the car park?
A: The fireworks event has one of our largest capacity crowds of the year. Inevitably, there are delays in exiting the car park. To help ease congestion please reverse into your parking space on arrival, making driving off easier. Follow the directions of our car park marshals. Bring a car park picnic and be prepared for a wait - please consider our neighbours and don’t peep. Last year the car park was completely clear within an hour of the end of the firework display. We will also have a second exit open to the A34 behind the Garden Centre. Book a post event dinner at Frankie and Benny’s, Terrazzo del Giardino or Premier Inn to refuel after the fun, or maybe try a cocktail or mocktail at The Bakehouse Cafe Bar.
Booking your Tickets for Trentham Gardens Firework Display - NOW SOLD OUT
Q: Should I book in advance?
A: Yes, we have a limited capacity for each event, and once this is met, no more tickets will be sold. All tickets are sold out before the event so on the day tickets will not be sold. Plus - advanced tickets are cheaper!
Q: Where and when can I buy tickets?
A: You can buy advanced tickets 24 hours a day online or in person at the gardens entrance during opening hours. Advanced tickets bought at the Gardens Entrance are available during open hours until the day prior to the event, online tickets are available until midnight the Thursday prior to the events (if tickets are still available). On the day ticket prices are valid all day on the day of the events and grant access to the gardens from 5pm (unless tickets are sold out prior to the day of the event). On the day tickets are NOT available to buy online, sorry.
Q: Are my tickets transferable?
A: Tickets are only available for use on the event date they were purchased for. Please be careful that you have selected the correct date as tickets to our events are non-refundable and non-transferable, with the exception of online tickets which can be refunded within 7 days of purchased.
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets were available to purchase from 10am on Monday 10th September online at www.trentham.co.uk or at our Gardens Entrance. If you are purchasing tickets online and have an Annual Ticket to Trentham Gardens, please have your annual ticket ready as you will need to input your membership number to receive discount.
Q: I have booked tickets online and received a confirmation from WorldPay, but haven't received a confirmation email from Trentham, are my tickets booked?
A: Please allow 24 hours for your Trentham confirmation email to reach your inbox. Some emails may be flagged as spam by your email provider, so please be sure to check your junk box. Occasionally some transactions can time out before Trentham's confirmation email is sent - in most cases your tickets have been allocated, and we just need to re-send your Trentham confirmation email. Please email your name and event to email@example.com and we will check and confirm as soon as possible. Thank you.
Q: Do I have to pay the garden admission charge on top of the event ticket price?
A: No, the gardens close at 4pm, and gates open to the event at 5.00pm.
Q: Will I be able to book tickets on the day?
A: Tickets have sold out before the day of the event. Please do not come to site without a ticket.
Q: The event I want to go to has sold out - can I be put on a reserves list?
A: The event has sold out, there will be no additional tickets sold. We advise that you post on Trentham's Facebook. If you purchase tickets from another customer on Facebook, Trentham cannot be held responsible for this transaction.
Annual Ticket Holder Bookings - SOLD OUT
Q: I am an Annual Ticket Holder to Trentham Gardens, can I purchase my event tickets online?
A: Yes, Annual Ticket Holders can book discounted online event tickets in advance. Each member can purchase on discounted ticket for each date. You'll just need your membership number handy.
Q: Where can I find my membership number on my Annual Ticket?
A: You will find your membership number on your membership card. Your number will either begin with TRE followed by six digits or will be a five digit code which can be found below the bar code.
Q: I'm an Annual Ticket Holder but have purchased non- annual ticket holder tickets by mistake, can I have the difference refunded?
A: If you bring your tickets back to Trentham within 7 days of purchasing, we can try to rectify any problems, however after 7 days we are unable to change any bookings.
Q: I'm an Annual Ticket Holder, but my pass is due to expire before the date of the concert - do I still get the discount?
A: Yes, however we will keep your event tickets until you renew. Once you have renewed your annual ticket you will be able to collect your event tickets. If you do not renew, you will need to upgrade your discounted tickets before we allow you entry into the event.
