Now more than ever, The Trentham Estate plays a really important role in providing access to fresh, outdoor space supporting wellbeing and mental health. We are therefore pleased to continue to offer our community a safe antidote during this really difficult time.

COVID Safety

We are currently operating the Gardens at a limited capacity, with access only available via pre-booked, half hour slots, and a one-way system in place.

What COVID safety measures are in place to keep visitors safe?

The safety of our staff, our volunteers and visitors is our priority. We have a number of measures in place, as outlined, to ensure we can remain open to access the Trentham Gardens for exercise and fresh air.

  • Pre-booking system to limit visitor numbers.
  • Socially distanced queuing system at the Gardens entrance.
  • One-way system around the lake.
  • Social distancing markers in the Shopping Village.
  • Notices regarding 2 metre distancing and face masks.
  • Hand sanitising stations and handwashing facilities.
  • Regular cleaning on-site toilets and touchpoints.
  • Staff issued with PPE and perspex screens where required.
