We answer some of the frequently asked questions in regards to Annual Tickets
Q. Do I have to bring anything with me to buy an Annual Ticket?
A. All you need is yourself and payment method - we take the photos here for the ID cards
Q. Why do you need our contact details, how do you use them?
A. When you purchase an annual ticket, we take your photograph, home address and contact details so that we can identify you to gain admission, and to keep in touch with our latest news, event and membership information - including renewal reminders and customer satisfaction surveys. Only trusted staff, and contractors (such as our mailing house or email provider) who specifically need this information, have access to your personal information. You can opt out of our communications at any time, either at the main entrance, or by unsubscribing from our emails. Q. Can I use Tesco Clubcard Vouchers to purchase the Annual Ticket?
A. Yes, Tesco Days Out Tokens can be used to purchase Annual Tickets, just bring your paper voucher or code beginning with TLL with you, to the main entrance.
Q. What if I want to buy the Annual Ticket for myself and another adult but they are not with me at the time of purchase?
A. That is not a problem, you can still purchase the Annual Ticket and we will issue you with a temporary card for them to exchange for one with photo ID, on their first visit.
Q. I would like to buy the Annual Ticket as a gift, what do I need to do?
A. You can purchase the Annual Ticket as a gift. All you need to do is call in at the Gardens Entrance and select the Annual Ticket category which will best fit their needs. We will need to know their full name, address and contact number.
Q. Can someone else us my Annual Ticket?
A. No, Annual Tickets are non-transferable and only the named/photographed ticket holder can use the ticket. Friends and family can get 20% discount on the normal garden entry rate when accompanying an Annual Ticket holder aged 16+ on presentation of their Annual Ticket, including photo ID. We reserve the right to refuse entry and tickets will be withdrawn if found to be misused.
Q. What happens if I have lost my card?
A. If your ticket is lost or stolen a £5.00 administration charge per re-issued ticket will apply.
Q. Can I still enter the gardens if I have forgotten my card?
A. Yes, we will check your details on the system, which displays your photo ID. Just see a member of staff at the desk on the way into the garden via the main entrance.
Q. Do I get any discounts?
A. Yes, the Annual Ticket comes with the following discounts, for members aged 16+ showing photo ID a 20% discount on day tickets for accompanying friends and family applies. Reduced ticket prices for events (only applies to Annual Ticket holder, the Annual Ticket must be produced on the night of the event and must be valid for the day of the event). A 10% discount in many of the shops and cafes. Further information can be found on the season ticket privilege page.
Q. Can I get into the Monkey Forest with an Annual Ticket?
A. No sorry, your annual ticket gives you access to Trentham Gardens only, admission to Trentham Monkey Forest is not included. The Monkey Forest does offer discounted entry of £1 off per member for Annual Ticket holders, which can be redeemed at the Monkey Forest Kiosk.
Q. Are there any days when my Annual Ticket is not valid?
A. There are 2 days where we have restrictions on the Annual Tickets. The gardens are closed on Christmas Day. We hold the Transport Festival in June, (usually on Father’s Day) on this special event day Annual Tickets are NOT valid for entry to the Gardens and Lakeside until after 4pm - Annual Ticket holders are offered discounted tickets to the gardens, with a bigger discount if purchased in advance.
Q. Can we take bikes or scooters into the gardens and lakeside?
A. No, we only permit bicycles and scooters for children aged 4 years and under at walking pace.
Q. Do I have to join the queue with my Annual Ticket?
A. If you have got your ticket with and you don’t need the gates opening for a pushchair or wheelchair, you can scan yourself in at the turnstile. If you have not got your card with you or are making a purchase, you will need to join the normal queue.
Q. When will my Annual Ticket expire?
A. Your Annual Ticket will start from the date of purchase, the expiry date is printed on the reverse of your member card.
