Find an Adventure at Trentham - CLOSED
The Adventure Playground, Sandpit, Barefoot Walk and Hide and Speak Maze are all currently closed.
Adventure Playground - CLOSED
Can you conquer the adventure playground? Children can swing into action at the adventure playground, where there’s activities for tots to teens, all made from naturalistic materials. Tackle the Altitude Tower in the adventure playground? Conquer the climbing wall and enjoy an exhilarating slide back down to earth. Have fun on the assault course, fly high on the swings, get creative in the sand pits and test your driving skills at the Young Drivers Zone (vehicles are suitable for children aged 5 and under).
Enjoy a Day at the Beach - CLOSED
The toddler zone is a natural and nautical themed adventure area. At its heart is a large sand play area with diggers and activity tower, as well as a new nest swing, toddlers’ seesaw and springy bees, plus additional cradle swings and extra seating. The toddler zone also now includes three activity boats, one of which is wheelchair accessible, on a “sea of sand”.
Barefoot Walk - CLOSED
We dare you to brave the Barefoot Walk! Get naked from the knees down and enjoy a walk through the Capability Brown landscape. Tantalise your toes with an array of testing textures including mud, bark, babbling streams, grass and pebbles. Not only is the Barefoot Walk fun, but it’s therapeutic too - as you walk you will be improving your health and vitality, using the historic principles of Sebastian Kneipp. Shoe lockers and foot showers are available.
Hide and Speak Maze - CLOSED
Within the Hide and Speak Maze, you’ll discover special talking pipes. Shout through them to help you to find your way. The final destination is a tall grass mound with a spiral path leading you to the top of the maze. From this high position, you can shout your instructions to others, still lost in the maze! This is a Hornbeam hedge maze, designed by our very own Paul Legeckis, to be child friendly and unintimidating. Find out more about the design and concept of the maze.
