Santa and Mrs Claus Terms and Conditions 

The Grotto is open from 11 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays the 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd December 2019.

On Friday 20th & Monday 23rd December, the grotto is open from 12noon – 2.30pm and 3.30pm - 5.30pm.

On Christmas Eve (24th December) the grotto is open from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.

Also, on Wednesdays, late night shopping 4th, 11th & 18th December 3.30pm-5.30pm & 6pm-7.30pm.

Santa will need to take a one-hour break at approx. 1pm on the weekends and Christmas Eve and at 5.30pm during late night shopping evenings. On all other dates this break will take place at 2.30pm.

Tickets must be booked in advance and will give you access for the pre-booked date and time session only. Capacity is limited therefore if a date is fully booked, you will be offered an alternative. If you do not visit on the date booked no refund or transfers to another date will be offered. Lost tickets will not be replaced. One ticket per child (regardless of age) needs to be purchased and each ticket holder will receive a gift from Santa. Accompanying parent/guardian with the child do not require a ticket to see Santa.

All visitors entering the Grotto to see Santa must have a valid admission ticket, receipts for purchased tickets will not be accepted as a valid entry method and admission will be refused.

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. For safety reasons, admission will be refused and no refund given, if children are seen to be unaccompanied or not supervised by an appropriate adult.

You are purchasing a child ticket for a ‘Meet & Greet’ session with Santa and time has been allocated for this accordingly. Therefore, if you are taking photos please have consideration for other children waiting to see Santa!

Trentham will endeavour to adhere to all timings as advertised. However, this may not always be possible therefore in the event of technical, operational, meteorological reasons or staff illness this activity may be cancelled or altered at any time without prior notice and refunds will not be issued as a result of the above.

Dogs are not allowed into the grotto, except guide dogs where necessary.

Tesco Clubcard Vouchers and Special Offer vouchers (i.e. 2 for 1, 10% etc) or Annual ticket discount cannot be used against the purchase of a ticket to meet Santa.

When purchasing a ticket, we take your contact details so that we can keep in touch should the event be cancelled, and also to send you our latest news, membership and upcoming event information - including customer satisfaction surveys. Only trusted staff, and contractors (such as our mailing house or email provider) who specifically need this information, have access to your personal information. Refund Policies & Procedures

  • Once you have purchased tickets for a particular date, this cannot be changed.
  • All tickets are non–refundable and non-transferable.
  • Trentham reserves the right to refuse admission if you do not have a valid ticket. We do reserve the right to refuse admission and to remove from the estate those persons whose behaviour we deem inappropriate.
