Q. Where can I buy a membership?
A. You can buy a membership online or at the Gardens Entrance. Please note that the Gardens Entrance Desk opens at 9am for bookings and enquiries.
Q. Are there different types of memberships available?
A. Yes, there are Direct Debit and non-Direct Debit memberships available to purchase. With a Direct Debit membership, you save 15% per year.
Q. Do I need to bring anything with me?
A. If you have purchased online, please bring your membership confirmation email containing the booking reference. A member of the team will take your photo and issue you with your membership card.
Q. Can I change the membership start date?
A. No, your membership will start on the payment date and there is no option to change this.
Q. Do I get any discounts?
A. Yes, as a member, you will receive:
- Year-round entrance to Trentham Gardens
- 20% discount on day tickets for friends and family you bring with you*
- Privileged access via main entrance, enter one hour before usual opening times
- Priority event booking
- Discounts in participating shops, cafes and restaurants at Trentham Shopping Village
- Bespoke newsletters with latest member offers

*Valid for family and friends visiting with a full paying adult member on presentation of membership card at entrance. To do this online, simply log into your membership account, add the amount of day tickets you want to buy to your basket and use promo code MembersDiscount when prompted.
Q. Why do you need our contact details, how do you use them?
A. When you purchase a membership, we take your photograph, home address, and contact details so that we can identify you to gain admission, and to keep in touch with our latest news, event, and membership information - including renewal reminders and customer satisfaction surveys. Only trusted staff, and contractors (such as our mailing house or email provider) who specifically need this information, have access to your personal information. You can opt out of our communications at any time, either at the main entrance, or by unsubscribing from our emails.
Q. Can I buy a membership for myself and another adult if they are not with me at the time of purchase?
A. Yes, that is not a problem, you can still purchase the membership and we will issue you with a temporary card for them to exchange for one with photo ID, on their first visit.
Q. I would like to buy the membership as a gift, what do I need to do?
A. You can purchase the membership as a gift at the Gardens Entrance. Please call in at the Gardens Entrance and select the membership category which will best fit their needs. We will need to know their full name, address, and contact number.
Gift Vouchers are also available on the online shop.
Q. Can I use my membership to enter whenever I like?
A. Usually yes, but to ensure social distancing can be maintained we are limiting the number of visitors, so both members and day Visitors will need to pre-book to visit the gardens.

Q. Can someone else use my membership?
A. No, memberships are non-transferable and only the named/photographed membership holder can use the membership. Friends and family can get 20% discount on the normal garden entry rate when accompanying a membership holder aged 16+ on presentation of their membership card.
We reserve the right to refuse entry and tickets will be withdrawn if found to be misused.
Q. What happens if I have lost my card?
A. If your membership card is lost or stolen a £5.00 administration charge per re-issued ticket will apply.
Q. Can I still enter the gardens if I have forgotten my card?
A. Yes, we will check your details on the system, which displays your photo ID. Just see a member of staff at the Gardens Entrance.
Q. Can we take bikes or scooters into the gardens and lakeside?
A. No, we only permit bicycles and scooters for children aged 4 years and under at walking pace.
Q. When will my Membership expire?
A. Your Membership will start from the date of purchase, the expiry date is printed on the reverse of your member card.

Q. Can I use Tesco Clubcard points to purchase a discounted Direct Debit membership?
A. No, Tesco Clubcard points can be redeemed for Tesco Annual Tickets only, no discount applies.
Q. Can I purchase a Tesco Annual Ticket online?
A. No, only memberships can be purchased and renewed online. To purchase a Tesco Annual Ticket, please visit the Gardens Entrance with your voucher code. Please note that the Gardens Entrance Desk opens at 9am for bookings and enquiries.
Q. Can I renew my Tesco Annual Ticket online?
A. No, Tesco Annual tickets can only be renewed at the Gardens Entrance.
