We love mums at Trentham Gardens
Mother’s Day is this weekend and Kerri-Ann from the ‘Life as Our Little Family’ blog, gives us her tips of how to spend Mother’s Day and her recommendations for the perfect gift at Trentham Shopping Village.
Kerri-Ann from the ‘Life as Our Little Family’ recommends...
Give something special this Mother’s Day with a shopping trip and afternoon tea at Trentham Gardens. What better way to spend a Sunday than a little shopping trip, followed by afternoon tea and a walk around the beautiful Italian Gardens with my boys and don’t forget there is free admission to the gardens for all mums when accompanied by a paying guest*. A super Sunday indeed. A little bit of everything I love with the two people that made me a mummy. If you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that with the exception of a family day these are three of my most favourite things - shopping, tea & cake and spending quality time with my boy. Who doesn’t? A pretty perfect way to spend Mother’s Day.
Trentham Gardens is the perfect backdrop for Mother’s Day. The newly expanded shopping village is a shoppers dream, a crafters delight, a foodie haven and quite simply the best place to show how much you love your mum. You’ll be sure to find the perfect gift to make your mum feel special. And if you really can’t decide what to buy then why not bring your mum with you and treat her to afternoon tea at one of the many cafes to rest tired shopping feet. The choice of gifts at Trentham Shopping Village is endless.
And so, I thought I would share my top picks from the shopping village to help inspire you with your Mother’s Day gift shopping…
Alice in Wonderland gift sets are available at Whittard of Chelsea
Whether it is for the love of luxurious hand creams from L’Occtaine, something sweet smelling from The Candle Shop, a traditional English breakfast tea in a gorgeous vintage design from Whittard of Chelsea, a sparkly Pink Gin from Il Gusto, book inspired gifts from Silver Leaf Gallery, or wellies to walk the dog from Outdoor and Country or Beautiful and Useful. The choice is endless. And lastly, my personal favourite would be a tea cup & saucer from Steelite Home, the craft range to be precise!
If you’re still looking for that extra special present then why not surprise your mum with an annual pass, the gift that keeps on giving. My first ever Mother’s Day gift was an annual pass for the family, I love that I can look back on each visit and I am instantly transported back to a moment in time. Being a mummy is many things but making memories together as a family is top of the list. Make memories at Trentham Gardens all year round with an annual pass.
On a final note I had to mention the wonderful Yellowstone Art Boutique and their window display which shows off the staff and their wonderful mums.
A shopping trip, afternoon tea and a walk around the gardens. The perfect way to say, ‘we love you mum’. For a full list of all the outlets, inspiration and more then head over to the website for further details.
* Day or annual tickets are valid for this promotion. What a lovely treat and the perfect end to Mothering Sunday.
