Mums go free on Mother's Day
|Date:||Sunday 26 March 2017|
|Time:||All day during Garden open hours (10am-5pm, last entry at 4pm)|
Treat your mum to a trip to Trentham Gardens this Mother's Day
Mums gain free entry to Trentham Gardens when accompanied by a full paying guest on Mothering Sunday.
A full paying guest includes those purchasing day tickets and those with Annual Tickets.
Relax in the stunning Italian Gardens which were revived by Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Tim Stuart-Smith and are one of the largest contemporary perennial plantings in Europe. There's also the Capability Brown designed Trentham Lake to walk around.
There's plenty to keep the kids entertained while you're here with Wilderness Survival in the woodland and bug hunting adventures with the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. At the adventure playground they can tackle the assault course, zoom down the zip wire and fly high on the swings. New for 2017 is the toddler zone with a natural and nautical themed adventure area. At its heart is a large sand play area with diggers and activity tower, as well as a new nest swing, toddlers' seesaw and springy bees, plus additional cradle swings and extra seating. The new-look toddler zone also now includes three activity boats, one of which is wheelchair accessible, on a "sea of sand". See if you can catch a picture of the 15 fairies which live at Trentham Gardens. You'll spot Titania in the Shopping Village and she points the way to all her friends.
If you're looking for the perfect gift for mum this Mother's Day we've written a blog which gives our top picks from the 50 enticing shops located at Trentham Shopping Village. Remember to book a table for breakfast, lunch or tea at one of the fantastic cafes and restaurants on-site too!
Free admission to mums when accompanied by a paying guest - day or annual tickets valid. Admission charges apply.
