Something for everyone...
What's on at Trentham Estate this Summer

School Holiday Fun at Trentham

Make the most of your summer at The Trentham Estate with our handy summer guide to what’s on throughout the holidays.

There are lots of activities that you can enjoy throughout the summer at The Trentham Estate including discovering Fairies, building sandcastles, going on high rope adventures and walking with monkeys.

Trentham Gardens

Trentham Gardens is the perfect place for families who love to go wild in the great outdoors during the summer holidays. With the brand new toddler area children can make their own pirate adventure, get creative building sandcastles, ride the springy bees and slide down the activity tower. The new area has a nautical and natural theme with activity boats on a sea of sand. Get naked from the knees down and tantalise your toes with an array of testing textures including mud, bark, babbling streams, grass and pebbles, on the Barefoot Walk.

Keep your eyes peeled as you walk around our beautiful mile-long lake, and through the woodland and garden, where the Fairies at Trentham live. Take the Trentham Fairy Trail and get a FREE fairy sticker. Take to the water on board the Miss Elizabeth, which is ready and waiting to transport passengers across Trentham Lake taking in views of the woodland and Capability Brown parkland. If you prefer, you can let the train take the strain as our miniature passenger train, the Trentham Fern, chuffs merrily along the lakeside.

Trentham Monkey Forest

Head to Trentham Monkey Forest, take a walk on the wild side and get up close with 140 Barbary macaques as you are plunged into their fascinating world. Guides along the path will give you information on the monkeys and what they are getting up to. Don’t miss the hourly feeding talks to see some more monkey antics and see if you can spot the baby monkeys! The Monkey Forest are also giving visitors the chance to win the ultimate Trentham experience in their new summer competition, Baby Zoom. The appropriately named competition wants visitors to send in their best baby monkey images, which shouldn’t be too hard with the new arrivals!
