Story of Transformation
See elements of the Stoke on Trent Partnership garden which won silver at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2013 representing the City’s journey from its rich industrial past.

Concept Gardens
Designed and created by students of Reaseheath Horticultural College in 2011.

The Secret Garden
Discover what’s behind the door in this RHS Tatton Flower Show Silver Medal award winning garden inspired by the children’s classic book ‘The Secret Garden’ designed and created by students at Reaseheath College.

Jurassic Garden
Take a giant step back in time and discover Trentham’s own Jurassic Garden created using plants which have been around for millions of years as well as using reclaimed materials from our own woods.

The Fruit and Cut Flowers Garden
Pay the chickens a visit and see what our volunteers have been up to in this productive garden. Sorry but Barabara and Henry have to be kept inside until 6th January, in compliance with the DEFRA regulations to protect poultry against Avian Flu.

The Allotment Garden
Be inspired by Trentham’s own allotment, with the resurgence of ‘grow your own’ the perfect opportunity to pick up a few ideas.

The Potager
Stroll around the classic kitchen garden, see how many different types of fruit and vegetables there are and be inspired to grow your own nothing tastes better than herbs and vegetables straight from the Earth onto your plate!

Sensory Garden
Stimulate the senses within this engaging garden, discovering the sights and sounds the plants have to offer, redesigned in 2013 by one of our HBGBS Students using plants and materials from past show gardens.

Reflections of an English Garden in Japan.
Experience the tranquillity of a Japanese Garden in this 2009 Chelsea Flower Show award winning garden generously donated by the Yamada family and adapted to the setting and plant palette here at Trentham. See if you can spot the frogs and toads around the pond.

Winter Wildlife Garden
Go for a bug hunt in our brand new Winter Wildlife Garden created with plants specifically chosen for winter interest and the benefits they provide for nature. Explore this wildlife haven and discover ways to give all types of creatures a helping hand during the winter months. Be inspired by beautiful plants that come into their own when others are fast asleep.
