Take a Boat Trip
All aboard the Miss Elizabeth!
She’s our electrically-powered, ecologically friendly, 42 seat catamaran, and is just the ticket for a peaceful jaunt.
She sets sail on the hour every hour from the Northern Jetty. Just after you’ve crossed the bridge upon entering the gardens, turn left and follow the Lakeside Walk for 5 minutes. You can buy tickets at the Gardens Entrance, or on board from our Captain.
A £2 ticket (in addition to garden admission), buys you a one-way trip to the far south of the mile-long lake. She docks at the Lakeside Cafe. You can choose to take a lovely stroll back along either side of the lake, or simply have a cup of tea and a slice of cake and sail back to the Northern Jetty again!
Or if you prefer, follow the Lakeside Walk (either way round - it’s a circular walk!) to the Lakeside Cafe, and catch the boat back, she sets sail every hour on the half hour.
