Fishing Club
Trentham’s lake is a magnet for members of our fishing club. There are 55 pegs around over 2 miles of lakeside. Work is ongoing to re-open some old overgrown pegs and installing new pegs closer to the Gardens, to make the lake much more accessible.
Fish Stocks
- Very good stock of mirror, common and ghost carp up to 31lb
- Pike up to 22lb
- Perch up to 3.6lb
- Bream up to 8-9lb
- Roach and Rudd.
Last season saw some exceptional fishing by anglers with good catches of all species taken throughout the year, from all around the lake.
Fishing Club Membership
Only members of the Fishing Club can fish the lake, no day tickets.
To become a member, download and complete the form and present it at the management suite, during office hours, with a valid rod licence and two passport photos.
Lower prices have been introduced to make fishing more accessible to the angler.

One adult and one child paying full price fishing membership, entitles the whole family (2 adults & up to 3 children) access to Trentham Gardens for the duration of the fishing permit. For each adult or concession fishing ticket purchased, a partner is entitled to a 50% discount on an Annual Ticket for Trentham Gardens. Be sure to organise your discounted tickets when purchasing or renewing your permit.
