Here, Jackie - our Group Bookings Co-ordinator - answers some Frequenty Asked Questions:

Q: How long do you suggest for a gardens visit?

A: 2 - 3 hours minimum to fully appreciate the gardens.

Q: How far is it from the coach drop off point to the entrance to Trentham Gardens?

Q: What should we wear?

A: Comfortable shoes and clothing are advised.

Q: Do we have to pay in advance?

A: No, you can pay on the day. However, to receive your group discounted tickets on the day, you must fill in a Group Booking Form in advance of the visit.

Q: Where do we collect our tickets from?

A: Monday - Friday: Management Suite. Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: Gardens Entrance. Check our North Entrance Map to be sure of where to pick your tickets up from.

Q: Which restaurants are suitable for large groups? Is it best to book ahead?

A: The Garden Centre is great for large groups, and would be best to book in advance of your visit. See our list of eateries on site for more inspiration.

Q: I’m not sure of our group numbers, can we purchase extra tickets on the day of our visit at the same group rate?

A: Yes, additional members can pay on the day.

Q: Where do we buy the Joint Attraction Group tickets?

A: All Joint Attraction Group Tickets are available to purchase at either attraction. For example, Joint Trentham Gardens and Shugborough Tickets are available to buy from Trentham Gardens or Shugborough.

Q: Are the grounds accessible to wheelchair users?

A: Yes. There are some inclines around the lakeside.

Q: Can we bring picnics?

A: Yes

Q: Can we come in and out of the gardens to visit the Trentham Shopping Village shops and cafes?

A: Yes, as long as you keep hold of your admission ticket, you can exit the Gardens and re-enter later in the day.
