Fun Days with the Family

Trentham is the perfect place for a fun day out with the family

It’s where every generation can enjoy spending quality time together. Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles - it’s a great day out with the kids and gets them active in the great outdoors!

Children love the adventure they can find at Trentham, they can explore the adventure playground, where they can tackle the assault course, zoom down the zip wire and fly high on the swings and try to conquer the Altitude Tower. If that’s not enough they can work their way through the Hornbeam hedge maze to the final destination on top of the spiral mound. This is a hide and speak maze, so use the special talking pipes to shout for help if you’re lost. Get back in touch with nature and get naked from the knees down as you tantalise your toes on the barefoot walk.

Take our scenic lakeside walk and try and spot the 15 fairies which call Trentham Gardens their home. Each fairy comes with a different personality, some are bold, others cheeky, daring and shy. They will be happy to pose for photographs, although they may try and upstage you in the photos! We love to see your pictures with them so please upload them to Instagram and remember the #trenthamgardens.

Take a boat trip across the Trentham Lake on our boat the Miss Elizabeth or chuff merrily along the lakeside on our resident miniature train the Trentham Fern!

When you’re planning your trip to Trentham make sure you check out our what’s on page for any events we may be running the day of your visit. Check out our cheap tickets for ticket offers and promotions.

At Trentham Monkey Forest bring your little monkeys to meet ours as you as you transport yourself into a world of animal magic as you wind along the ¾ of a mile path spotting the Barbary macaques roaming through their 60 acre forest home. See the monkeys live as they would in their native Algeria and Morocco and learn all about their relationships and behaviours. Make sure you catch one of the hourly feeding talks so you can see some real monkey antics. Want to visit both attractions? We offer a joint Gardens and Monkey Forest ticket which can be used for one amazing fun-packed day, or, return any day the same season to enjoy the second attraction. Please note that these tickets are not accepted during Bank Holiday weekends.

Make sure you include a visit to Trentham Shopping Village, with over 50 enticing shops and 15 cafes housed in timber cabins it is a unique shopping and eating experience.
