What a year 2025 has been at Trentham! 💜 ✨
We welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors into the Gardens, planted well over 150,000 bulbs across the Estate, added hundreds of trees and thousands of plants, and continued transforming much-loved spaces including the Italian Gardens, Otters project and Bluebell Meadow 🌸🌳
Behind the scenes, the scale of work has been incredible! In the Italian Gardens, we replaced 600 tonnes of old soil with sand and grit, refreshed paths with new stone and gravel, and planted more than 11,500 plants in Phase 1 of the Next Chapter Project. We’ve also started even more exciting new projects, including a new pond dipping area, picnic area, native meadows, natural play, and tree carving along the lakeside! 🌿 🦋
We supported 35+ charities, hosted 14 outdoor music concerts, themed the gardens for an incredible Halloween Festival and Winter Light Trail, and saw thousands of you flock here to meet Shaun the Sheep 🐑🎉 Add five brand-new shops opening in the Shopping Village, and it’s been a truly standout year!
None of this happens without our brilliant visitors, community, partners, colleges, creatives, gardeners and teams. Thank you for being part of Trentham’s story in 2025! What was your highlight? 💜
